Sukano improves sustainability practices, achieves gold medal from EcoVadis
Sukano has been awarded a gold medal for its sustainability practices by EcoVadis in the 2019 edition of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Rating. Overall, Sukano was ranked in the top 6% of its industry peers assessed by EcoVadis, with particularly strong results in the areas of Sustainable Procurement and Labor Rights. This ranking is an improvement for Sukano versus 2018, when the company had its first-ever evaluation.
“We are excited to be recognized as one of the most sustainable companies in our industry by EcoVadis,” said Alessandra Funcia, Head of Marketing and Sales for Sukano. “To have achieved a gold medal in only our second year participating is a testament to all our employees at Sukano, all of whom have worked hard to ensure social and environmental concerns are integrated into our daily business practices.”
