When conducting business with us, the activities and business practices of our suppliers may have considerable influence to our company. Therefore, we expect all our suppliers, their employees, and subcontractors to stringently adhere to the same ethical standards as Sukano itself. It is the responsibility of our suppliers to meet these expectations and to comply with our Code of Conduct for Suppliers.

 

  • Suppliers of Sukano are expected to act and operate with integrity and in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws, such as set by the International Labour Organization (ILO), REACH; United Nations (UN) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
  • Qualified and approved suppliers of Sukano must meet these ethical standards in all locations they are operating in.
  • Qualified and approved suppliers of Sukano must share its commitment to these ethical standards and any relevant periodic update.
  • Qualified and approved suppliers of Sukano are expected to jointly improve and develop sustainable and innovative solutions in order reduce their CO2 footprint and energy consumption, or improve biodeiversity or waste management initiatives.
  • Qualified and approved suppliers of Sukano will value free and fair competition throughout the world; respect the applicable trade control regulations, embargoes, and restrictions; and will not use any form of corruption in conducting their business.
  • Qualified and approved suppliers of Sukano must disclose to Sukano any situation that appears as a conflict of interest.
  • Sukano expects its qualified and approved suppliers to protect all confidential information provided by our employees and partners.
  • When carrying out procurement duties, all Sukano employees are expected to share with suppliers our commitments to these ethical standards and to report activities in violation with the Code of Conduct.
  • Compliance with this Suppliers Code of Conduct is considered when deciding who we want to work with.
